Loving Safoa reading & giveaway on Friday August 2nd

It’s been a while! Grad school, teaching, and other life events conspired to keep me from writing newsletters for a month or two, but I’m beginning to have more time again.

On that note, I have a “quick” update: I’ll be reading a short excerpt of Loving Safoa (a passage I haven’t read before) during Strong Women, Strange Worlds’ QuickReads event next Friday, August 2nd at 12 pm EST / 9 am PST.

Audience members will have a chance to win a free, signed copy of my Loving Safoa novella! Other authors who will read at this event —Dianna Gunn (Moonshadow’s Guardian), Kelli Owen (The Headless Boy), J.E.
