I momentarily lost my mind this weekend, thinking about the politics of social capital. I can and cannot believe we live in a world where we have to convince people to support projects that provide sustainable, honest pleasure. Why is the goodness of things not enough? Why do they need sponsorships? Why do I need to hop on a Drake song before you shake your ass for me?
Of course, the answer is capitalism.
